RESOURCES FOR volunteers
National CASA Book List
The CASA office has books for you to borrow to help volunteers to complete the 12 hours of annual in-service training. CASA volunteers may check out the books and write a short report that summarizes the main points and how it can be applied within a CASA case.
These summaries can be dropped off or emailed into your CASA case supervisor. Every 100 pages counts for 1 hour of training. There is also a master list of titles compiled by National CASA.
Recommended Reading & VIDEOS
The following are suggested sites for reading or interaction. Proof of completion in the form of a summary or a certificate must be submitted. Summaries must outline the main points and what you learned that can be helpful to you as a CASA.
