    Nancy McCullar, comes to CASA Berks County with 30 years of experience in working with children, youth, families, courts, and donors addressing the issues of child abuse and neglect and creating avenues for strengthening families. She has been the Executive Director of Jane Addams Hull House, Big Sisters of Philadelphia, Girls Inc. of Philadelphia, Girl Scouts Great Valley Council and Vice President of ChildFirst Services. She has experience working with children and their families who are involved in the foster care system in Chicago, Philadelphia, Berks, and Lehigh Valley. She has a BA in English from the University of Michigan and a MA in social work from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration. She is excited to bring her skills to CASA of Berks County and inspire others to support the organization.

    Christa started with CASA of Berks County as a CASA volunteer in March 2016 and became a Volunteer Manager in August 2017. Born and raised in West Chester, PA, Christa moved to Berks County following graduation where she lives with her husband of 24 years. Christa is a mom of seven children and a grandmother of two grandchildren.

    As a volunteer, Christa became passionate for the program and for what it stands for, believing that every child facing abuse and neglect should have a CASA to help ensure their right to a safe and permanent home. She writes, "As a CASA you can impact a small part of a child's success and their future, something every child deserves."
